We are incredibly grateful to share that The Flying Machine, our feature film about the Wright brothers, was featured on the front page of the Dayton Daily News.
The beautifully written article by Tom Gnau captures not only the momentum behind the film, but also the heart of why this story matters so deeply — to Dayton, to the aviation world, to the Wright family, and to everyone who believes that one idea can change history.
There is something powerful about seeing this story continue to gain attention in the very city where it all began.
Dayton, Ohio is not just the hometown of Wilbur and Orville Wright. It is the place where two brothers dreamed, studied, failed, rebuilt, tested, believed, and ultimately changed the world. Long before the first successful flight at Kitty Hawk, the spirit of flight was born in Dayton — in bicycle shops, in notebooks, in conversations, in imagination, and in relentless perseverance.
That is the heartbeat of The Flying Machine.
Our goal is to create a major motion picture that honors the Wright brothers with the scale, beauty, humanity, and emotional power their story deserves. This is not simply a film about aviation. It is a film about family, faith, invention, failure, courage, and the pursuit of something the world believed was impossible.
We are especially thankful to Tom Gnau for his eloquent writing and for continuing to bring such thoughtful attention to this journey. His support, along with the continued interest from the Dayton Daily News, means a great deal as we work to bring this historic story to the big screen.
We are also deeply grateful to Chuck Leavell for his friendship, belief, and support of this project. Chuck introduced us to Delta Air Lines and their corporate executives, opening an exciting path forward for The Flying Machine. We are also honored that Chuck will be creating the music and composing for the film, bringing his extraordinary talent, heart, and musical legacy to this story.
As the effort grows, so does our sense of responsibility.
The Wright brothers did not just build an airplane. They opened the sky. They expanded what humanity believed was possible. Their story belongs to Dayton, but it also belongs to the world.
We are thankful to the Wright family, our partners, our supporters, and everyone who has encouraged this project from the beginning. Every conversation, every introduction, every prayer, every article, and every act of support moves us one step closer to telling this story the right way.
A lot of exciting things are beginning to come together.
And just like the Wright brothers, we believe the impossible begins with a simple decision: keep going.
